The Dinosaur Field Trip They'll Never Forget.

Field trips may be scheduled throughout the year during available field-trip hours. Fall field trips are offered on select October dates from 9 AM–1 PM. Please reserve at least one week in advance, although earlier booking is recommended for popular October dates.

General field-trip admission is $10 per student. Optional activities, food and upgrades may cost extra. Contact River City Adventure Park for availability and a quote based on your group’s needs.

Yes. A minimum of 25 students is required to receive field-trip group pricing.

Yes. The dinosaur experience supports hands-on exploration, observation, movement and problem-solving. Students can explore prehistoric themes through experiences such as the Dino Dig, dinosaur encounters, fossil-inspired discovery and active outdoor play. These activities can support classroom conversations about fossils, habitats, movement, size, adaptation and scientific discovery.

Students learn by investigating, comparing, digging, observing and solving physical challenges. Dinosaur and fossil themes can introduce science concepts, while mini golf, pedal karts, the zipline and obstacle-based attractions encourage discussions involving motion, force, balance, measurement and problem-solving.

River City Adventure Park welcomes schools, preschools, daycares, elementary groups, homeschool groups and youth organizations. Some attractions have height, weight or safety restrictions, so available activities may vary by student age and size.

Fall field-trip hours run from 9 AM–1 PM. The amount of time your group needs will depend on group size, lunch plans and the number of attractions your students visit.

Yes. Field-trip groups may bring their own food and drinks. Picnic tables are available. Groups are responsible for cleaning their seating area after lunch.

Yes. Food options may be added to your field trip. Ask about available meals, snacks and drinks when requesting your date.

Students should wear comfortable outdoor clothing and closed-toe shoes. Sunscreen, insect repellent, weather-appropriate clothing and refillable water bottles are also recommended.

Yes. Participants must have a completed waiver before using applicable attractions. Completing waivers before arrival can help your group enter the park more quickly.

Park team members are positioned throughout the attraction areas to assist guests and help enforce park rules. Teachers, school staff and chaperones remain responsible for supervising students throughout the visit.

Yes. Some attractions have height, weight or other participation requirements. Contact the park before your visit for questions about specific attractions or student age groups.

Yes. River City Adventure Park has parking available for school buses, passenger vehicles and other large group transportation.
